Description
Canon PG-260 XL – Genuine High-Yield Black Ink Cartridge for Canon Inkjet Printers
Your printer’s low-ink warning appeared three weeks after you installed the standard cartridge — the regular-capacity ink your printing consumed at the pace your household’s homework, shipping labels, and the document output your daily use produced between the cartridge you installed and the replacement your standard-yield exhausted before the month your printing expected it lasting through. The Canon PG-260 XL extends your printing between replacements with the high-yield capacity delivering up to 400 pages from one cartridge — the XL volume stretching your ink across the weeks your standard cartridge measured in days from the capacity your upgraded yield now sustains between the installations your less-frequent replacement schedule spaces further apart. Genuine Canon ink engineered specifically for your compatible Canon printer — the PG black formulation producing the crisp, sharp text your documents display from the ink whose chemistry Canon developed for the print heads it feeds through rather than the third-party approximation whose compatibility your genuine cartridge never risks questioning from the ink your printer’s manufacturer formulated for the hardware printing it. Canon’s FINE technology utilizes over 6,000 nozzles inside the print head for the precision your text sharpness and document clarity depend on receiving from the nozzle density delivering ink at the resolution your pages display from the engineering your genuine cartridge was designed to perform through.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between PG-260 and PG-260 XL?
The XL version contains more ink for higher page yield — up to 400 pages versus the standard PG-260’s lower yield. Both fit the same printers and produce the same print quality. XL provides better per-page value for higher-volume printing.
Does this include color ink?
No — this is the PG-260 XL black cartridge only. The CL-261 XL color cartridge (up to 300 pages) is sold separately for color printing alongside your black cartridge.
Why choose genuine Canon ink over third-party?
Genuine Canon ink is formulated for Canon’s FINE print heads — ensuring consistent quality, preventing clogging, and maintaining your printer’s warranty. Third-party inks may save upfront cost but risk print-head damage, inconsistent output, and potential warranty issues.
How do I know when to replace the cartridge?
Your Canon printer displays an ink-level indicator — a low-ink warning appears when the cartridge approaches depletion. Print quality degradation (faded text, streaking) also signals replacement is needed.
Can I use this in printers not listed above?
The PG-260 XL is compatible only with the listed Canon models — TS5320, TS6420, TS6420a, TR7020, TR7020a. Other Canon printers use different cartridge models. Verify your printer’s cartridge number before purchasing.
Order the Canon PG-260 XL today and print up to 400 pages of crisp black text from the genuine Canon ink your printer was engineered to perform best with — XL yield, FINE precision, and the authentic quality your Canon logo guarantees inside every cartridge.
