Description
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE Dual Tower CPU Cooler
The cooler that came with your CPU was made for light work. Browsing the web. Checking email. But gaming and video editing create much more heat. Your stock cooler cannot handle it. Temperatures climb. Fans get loud. Your CPU slows down to protect itself. You need a real cooler. One built for serious work.
This is a dual tower cooler. Two sets of aluminum fins instead of one. Six copper heat pipes pull heat from your CPU and spread it across both towers. Two 120mm fans push air through the fins. More cooling power. Less noise. Your CPU stays cool even during the heaviest tasks.
Key Benefits
- Dual tower design: Two fin towers give you double the cooling surface. Handles gaming, rendering, and heavy multitasking that single tower coolers cannot keep up with.
- 6 copper heat pipes with AGHP: Six pure copper pipes move heat fast. AGHP technology keeps them working properly no matter how your case sits. Vertical, horizontal, or any angle.
- Two 120mm PWM fans: Spin up to 1,550 RPM. Push up to 66.17 CFM of air. Your motherboard controls the speed automatically based on temperature.
- Under 25.6 dB noise: Quieter than many single-fan coolers. Two fans moving more air at lower noise. Great for quiet home offices and living room PCs.
- Copper base plate: Pure copper absorbs CPU heat quickly. Electroplated construction keeps joints strong through years of heating and cooling cycles.
- RAM clearance: Designed to leave room for your memory sticks. Standard and most tall RAM modules fit without being blocked.
- Intel and AMD support: Metal mounting hardware included for LGA 1700, 1851, 1200, 1150, 1151 and AM4, AM5. Covers current platforms from both brands.

Who Is It For?
- Gamers: Hours of gaming push your CPU hard. Dual towers keep temps low so your processor boosts higher and does not throttle.
- Content creators: Rendering and 3D work use all CPU cores for long stretches. This cooler handles sustained heat that stock coolers cannot.
- Quiet PC builders: Under 25.6 dB is barely noticeable. Perfect for bedrooms, offices, and recording spaces.
- Budget builders: Dual tower performance without liquid cooler prices. No pump noise. No leak risk. Just strong, quiet air cooling.
How to Install
Pick the right mounting hardware from the box for your CPU socket. Intel uses the included backplate. AMD uses the backplane that came with your motherboard. It is not included with this cooler. Apply thermal paste if not pre-applied. Place the cooler with pipes pointing up for best airflow. Tighten fasteners evenly. Plug both fan cables into motherboard headers.
Important Notes
The cooler is 155mm tall. Check your case specs before buying. Most mid-tower and full-tower cases fit it. Small cases may not. AMD users must have their original motherboard backplane. It does not come with this cooler.
Why Choose This Cooler?
Stock coolers handle basic loads only. Single towers handle medium loads. For real cooling at a budget price, dual tower wins. Two towers, six heat pipes, two fans, and near-silent operation. Thermalright has made cooling products for over 20 years. This cooler shows that experience in every part of the design.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit my case?
It is 155mm tall. Most mid-tower and full-tower cases have room. Check your case’s max cooler height before buying.
Does it include thermal paste?
May be pre-applied or included separately. Check the box. Buy paste if not included.
What is AGHP?
Anti Gravity Heat Pipe. Keeps pipes working properly in any position. No performance loss from mounting angle.
Will my tall RAM fit?
Standard and most tall modules fit. Extremely oversized RAM heat spreaders should be measured against clearance first.
