Description
Magnetic Phone Holder for Car Dashboard – 2-Pack Strong Magnet Mount with 360° Rotation and Mini Low-Profile Design
Bulky clamp mounts block your dashboard visibility, suction cups fall off in summer heat, and cup holder mounts consume your only drink space. The Magnetic Phone Holder for Car Dashboard delivers the simplest, cleanest phone mounting solution available — a compact, low-profile magnetic base that sticks permanently to your dashboard with industrial VHB adhesive and holds your phone securely through 8 powerful magnets generating a closed magnetic field that grips firmly without interfering with your cellular signal, GPS reception, or wireless charging coils. The 2-pack format gives you one mount for the driver’s side and one for the passenger, or one for your car and one for your home office desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter. With 360-degree rotation for instant portrait-to-landscape switching, one-hand phone placement and removal in under a second, and four included metal plates for equipping multiple phones and cases simultaneously, this universal magnetic car mount keeps your screen visible, your hands free, and your dashboard uncluttered during every drive.
Key Benefits
- 8 Powerful Magnets per Mount: Each compact holder contains 8 high-strength magnets that generate strong, stable attraction through phone cases and metal plates — holding your device firmly during sudden braking, speed bumps, sharp turns, and rough road conditions without loosening or dropping your phone.
- VHB Industrial Adhesive Base: Premium VHB adhesive bonds the magnetic base securely to smooth, flat dashboard surfaces with exceptional stick force that withstands vibration, temperature changes, and daily automotive wear far longer than standard adhesive pads and suction cup alternatives.
- 2-Pack with 4 Metal Plates: Two magnetic mounts and four adhesive metal plates equip multiple vehicles, multiple phones, or multiple mounting locations simultaneously — driver and passenger positions, car and office desk, or primary phone and spare device.
- 360° Rotation for Any Viewing Angle: The rotating magnetic head swivels your phone to any orientation — portrait for messaging and calls, landscape for GPS navigation and video — with smooth, precise angular adjustment for optimal screen visibility from the driver’s seat.
- Mini Low-Profile Design: The compact mount sits on your dashboard without blocking windshield sight lines, obstructing air vents, or creating the visual clutter that larger clamp-style and telescopic arm mounts add to your vehicle’s interior.
- Closed Magnetic Field Technology: The magnet configuration creates a closed-loop field that concentrates holding force toward your phone without radiating interference that disrupts cellular signals, GPS accuracy, or compass calibration on your smartphone.
How to Use
Clean your dashboard mounting location with the included prep wipe to ensure a dust-free, oil-free surface for maximum VHB adhesive bond strength. Peel the protective backing from the mount base and press firmly onto a flat, smooth dashboard surface for 30 seconds to establish full adhesion — flat and smooth surfaces provide the strongest, longest-lasting stick. Attach one of the included thin metal plates to the inside of your phone case or directly to the back of your phone using the plate’s adhesive backing. Place your phone against the magnetic mount head and the magnets grip your device instantly. Rotate 360 degrees to your preferred viewing angle. Remove your phone with a simple one-hand pull whenever you leave the vehicle.
Important Notes
- All phones — including iPhone 17/16/15/14/13/12 MagSafe models — require the included metal plate for secure magnetic attachment.
- Flat, smooth dashboard surfaces provide the strongest adhesive bond. Textured, curved, or leather-wrapped surfaces may reduce adhesive effectiveness.
Perfect For
- Minimalist Car Interiors: The tiny footprint and low-profile design add phone mounting functionality without the visual bulk that clamp cradles, telescopic arms, and suction cup assemblies impose on clean dashboard aesthetics.
- Multi-Vehicle and Multi-Phone Households: The 2-pack with four metal plates covers two cars, two mounting locations, or two phones simultaneously — practical coverage without purchasing separate mounts for each situation.
- Quick One-Hand Mounting: Magnetic attachment and release happen in under a second with one hand — no squeezing clamps, no adjusting arms, and no fumbling with cradle mechanisms while seated behind the steering wheel.
- GPS Navigation and Hands-Free Calls: Positioned at dashboard height for natural eye-level visibility during turn-by-turn directions, incoming call management, and music control without dangerous downward glancing while driving.

Why Choose This Magnetic Dashboard Mount?
Clamp mounts add bulk. Suction cups fail in heat. Vent clips block airflow and snap plastic blades. This magnetic mount eliminates every physical attachment mechanism except two flat surfaces and powerful magnets — producing the cleanest, fastest, most damage-free car phone mounting system available. The VHB adhesive provides semi-permanent bonding strength that outlasts suction cup vacuum seals by months under the same automotive temperature cycling and vibration conditions. Eight magnets per mount generate holding force strong enough to secure large-screen phones through aggressive driving maneuvers without the wobble and gradual loosening that weaker four-magnet competitors allow over time. And the 2-pack pricing with four metal plates delivers multi-location coverage at a per-mount cost that single-unit purchases cannot match. It is one of the best magnetic dashboard phone mounts for drivers who want instant, secure, low-profile smartphone positioning without the complexity, bulk, and interior damage that mechanical mounting systems create.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do iPhones with MagSafe still need the metal plate?
Yes, all phones including MagSafe iPhones require the included metal plate for secure magnetic attachment to this mount. The mount’s magnet system works with the metal plate, not directly with MagSafe alignment magnets.
Will the VHB adhesive damage my dashboard?
VHB adhesive creates a strong semi-permanent bond. Removal may leave adhesive residue on some dashboard materials. For best results, mount on flat, smooth surfaces and test in an inconspicuous area first if concerned about surface sensitivity.
Will the magnets affect my phone’s GPS or signal?
No, the closed magnetic field design concentrates holding force without radiating interference that disrupts cellular reception, GPS navigation accuracy, or wireless functionality on your smartphone.
Can I use this mount on my desk or nightstand?
Yes, the VHB adhesive base sticks to any flat, smooth surface including desks, nightstands, kitchen counters, and office workstations for versatile hands-free phone positioning beyond automotive use.
How strong is the magnetic hold during bumpy driving?
The 8-magnet configuration provides firm holding force through speed bumps, sudden braking, sharp turns, and rough road conditions. The metal plate’s full-surface contact with the magnetic head ensures stable, shake-resistant phone positioning during normal driving.
